The SponsHer Challenge is a movement calling women nationwide to sponsor at least one woman by the end of 2025.
Although job referrals account for about 1/3 of job hires across industries, women are 26% less likely to ask for referrals, even if they know the person. With SponsHer, women don’t have to ask, and the answer is still yes. We are using the last 100 days of 2025 to make one simple commitment to collectively improve women's career visibility:
By taking this challenge, you are refusing to let opportunities pass by quietly because no one spoke up for women.
Using your influence or connections to position a woman closer to a career opportunity. This could be an employee referral at your job, forwarding a résumé, warm intro, or other strategies that increase her chances of getting hired.
The power to follow through on the SponsHer Challenge is in your hands. Literally. We created a free community app that lets you:
Note: Even if you sign up as a prospect, you will still be able to sponsor other women!
This challenge only works if women actually hear about it. By sharing your #SponsHerChallenge commitment on social media, you help create a ripple effect for women to sponsor and be sponsored. It also helps us measure women's collective reach and impact.
To share on social media: Use the photos and captions below in a social media post. You can also write your own caption, we'd love to hear what motivated you to take the challenge. Tag women in your network who you want to see join the challenge.
1 in 3 jobs come from referrals, but women are still 26% less likely to ask for them. That gap means missed opportunities and women being left behind in one of the toughest job markets in decades.
That’s why I’m taking the #SponsHerChallenge: to sponsor at least one woman by the end of 2025. The goal isn’t just individual success, it’s to see the collective impact when women act as one.
For women who believe in betting on women, here's how you can join the challenge: https://sponsher.com/challenge
Applicants who use job referrals are more likely to be hired, but women are less likely to ask for referrals.
So in this job market, women don’t just need mentorship, they need sponsorship. This means referrals, resumes forwarded, introductions made. That’s why I’m joining the #SponsHerChallenge: to sponsor at least one woman by the end of 2025.
The bigger picture? To measure how far we can reach when women collectively decide that we are not just showing up for ourselves, but for each other.

Women’s unemployment rates in Sep. 2025 are worse than they were in Sep. 1952. Let that sink in.
In the one of the toughest job markets most of us have seen, with women bearing both financial and emotional costs, what's next depends on what we do together now.
That's why I’m taking the #SponsHerChallenge to sponsor at least one woman by the end of 2025. I'm also inviting women in my network to join me in showing up for women: https://sponsher.com/challenge
After the challenge, we’ll reveal the collective force of women sponsoring women and the insights we learned along the way. Check back in with us to see how your decision to show up for women became part of something big.

Using your influence or connections to position a woman closer to a career opportunity. This could be an employee referral at your job, forwarding a résumé, warm intro, or other strategies that increase her chances of getting hired.
You can sponsor women however you choose, but the app makes it easier to discover women in your field who are ready for opportunities and connections.
Because women can’t wait. We’re building urgency and momentum with a manageable but clear finish line, so that we can measure our collective impact.
Mentorship is guidance. Sponsorship is advocacy. A sponsor doesn’t just advise, she opens doors, gives referrals, and positions other women for better career visibility.
